Adriana Robert-Rodriguez
Adriana joined White Design in September 2005 and is currently working towards the British equivalent of her professional practice and management qualifications.
She is involved in a number of projects within the office at all scales, including the new National Wildlife Conservation Park in north east Bristol, a timber house extension in the Forest of Dean, a Visitor Centre for the Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve in Christchurch, Dorset and the publication of two timber articles.
Being Colombian, and living for three years in the French and Italian parts of Switzerland, Adriana has been exposed to different environments and cultures. This has made her keen to explore a variety of natural construction materials such as timber, bamboo and
rammed earth.
Prior to joining White Design Adriana had a scholarship for a research project in timber in Switzerland, where she also learned about different aspects of European timber construction. In Colombia, she worked with rural communities, built and designed a bamboo house, and worked for more than two years in an architectural practice in Bogotà.
