Andrew Docherty
Andrew joined White Design in August 2005 having worked for a variety of architectural firms in London. He has been involved in several projects within the office, mainly Bedgebury Forest visitor centre for the Forestry Commission, Rolls Crescent Primary School in Manchester and option appraisals on a number of local projects for Bristol City Council.
Andrew originally studied Ceramics at Edinburgh college of art and worked for a number of years teaching and exhibiting throughout the UK before entering architecture. Since returning to college Andrew has continued to explore architectural themes related to his art practice, focusing on new uses for ceramics in architecture, rammed earth construction and the use of pattern and ornamentation of form in design.
