The area next to V-shed on the harbourside in Bristol has undergone a radical transformation over the coming months to turn in into a unique dining experience.  The new projects combines quality local organic products in imaginative and exciting ways within a new ‘food hall’, comprising cafe-bar, bakery, patisserie and restaurant. 

The former fit-out has been stripped back to reveal the original industrial shell, with all materials audited and accounted for before being either reused within the new scheme or recycled for use in other local projects.  The new ‘food hall’ echoes the quality of the food served within, making it simple yet sophisticated, beautiful and sustainable.

Natural materials are used throughout and natural lighting and ventilation strategies combine to provide a dramatic central atrium space, around which the various activities and functions take place.  Considerable care will be taken to ensure that energy usage is minimised in both the building and running of the building.  The reduce, reuse and recycle mantra will be applied at every stage of the process.

In short, the new scheme is as a breath of fresh air to this noble and historic part of Bristol.
