The approach by the Round Foundry Green Building project team has been to assume a “no energy input” as a starting point, only using energy systems where unavoidable.  Client CTP ST James, BDP Architects and sustainability consultants White Design are achieving this by:

    - Designing a building that demands less energy

    - Employing passive design techniques

    - Minimising energy using systems

    - Using renewable energy sources

A combination of restored buildings and carefully considered new ones, this truly mixed-use development will include office, retail, residential and leisure accommodation to create a vibrant sustainability community with plenty of character.

Covering three-and-a-half acres this development will have a significant positive impact on the city and it is a development which White Design are very pleased to be a part of.
